Do metal beds creak?
Do metal beds creak? Does the metal bed creak? What is the reason if the bed creaks sometimes? Is it because it is metal or because wooden parts are creaking? What bed to buy so that it does not squeak?
My friend bought a bed in Ikea and it was already squeaking from the news.

It depends rather on where the bed stands, what frame it has and what mattress it has. It cannot be stated unequivocally that the metal bed does not creak, and the wooden bed does not creak 😉
Much depends on where such a bed is and what mattress it has. There is no saying that the metal bed must creak 😉
Metal beds may squeak after some time of use. The problem then may lie with the joints and moving parts which need to be re-lubricated.
If it squeaks, you need to lubricate all joints (you can do this with regular vegetable oil).
Metal beds creak over time, as do the hinges on the doors (which are also metal).
But in a metal bed it is easier to solve the problem of creaking than in wooden bed.
Yes, a metal bed can creak over time. When it starts to squeak, you need to coat the joints with a special metal agent or, for example, with WD-40. Or plain, homemade vegetable oil. In my experience - WD-40 works well.
The wear of the material causes the metal bed to creak after a while. The creaking is quite bothersome. You can fight it by lubricating (eg WD-40) joints and generally places where squeaks come from.
We started to creak, but I smeared here and there with vegetable oil and it does not creak. It can be rapeseed or sunflower. It also works on creaking hinges. It does not dirty, does not smell - ecologically.
They creak as much as possible. I have a metal bed and some time ago it started creaking. I'll have to do something about it
