In free time in Kielce it is worth exploring the area. The city itself is quite small, the old part is based on the Market Square and Sienkiewicza Street, which is such a "flagship" arcade with pubs and shops. From there you can look at Kadzielnia, which is nearby and which is a small nature reserve in the city center. There is also a stage there, so in the summer you can get to the concert.
In the area, in turn, I can recommend Raj Cave, which is really worth visiting if you like to walk around such places. Certainly one of the prettiest in Poland. Nearby there is also the Chęciny Castle, and in fact its ruins, so for lovers of history, castles and legends it will definitely be the perfect place. In the summer, I don't remember exactly when, there is a night tour of Chęciny, where everyone walks around the town, castle and surroundings with flashlights, with or without guides. Cool thing and finally a bonfire at the castle, concerts and games.
In turn, if you like forests, you may just like the region itself, which abounds in them. In the vicinity of Kielce you will find several interesting routes that will lead you on foot, e.g. to Saint Catherine. It is also worth visiting the Holy Cross, both because of the monastery and the surrounding forests, after all it is in the middle of the Świętokrzyski National Park. The National Park itself is vast and really beautiful.
For people with children in the city itself I can recommend the Toy and Play Museum or the newly opened small "Oceanarium" in the area.
Asking about pubs may be more difficult, they have probably changed a bit since my last stay there. You can try it with the restaurant Kojot. One of the galleries also has some nice sushi.
I would recommend the Gaudi club, which is located at Bodzentyńska Street in Kielce. From the outside it looks interesting and has an unforgettable atmosphere reminiscent of Gaudi's style. For coffee and snacks, or even wine, you can go to Wesoła Kafka, located at ulica Wesoła. Another interesting place may be the Galleon Club, of course, if you like pirate climates, and if you want to feel like in the People's Republic of Poland then go to the cafe club Committee at ul. Warsaw.
I have been to Kielce several times and I will remember this city for a long time. There is a very special atmosphere there. The former Palace of Krakow Bishops made a great impression on me, so if you have some time, I recommend it. Lots of nice restaurants especially in the main part of town.
The castle in Chęciny is quite an interesting place and it is right behind Kielce. And from Kielce it is a stone's throw to the Świętokrzyskie Mountains, where it is also worth visiting.
Some churches are nice, but I only look at it in architectural terms because I'm an atheist.
Kadzielnia is a unique place. Who would expect such a place in a provincial city. A city bustling with life on one side and a nature reserve on the other. Only there!

Echo Gallery in turn, it is one of the largest shopping centers in the region, where you can find many shops, restaurants and entertainment.
And it also needs to be replaced Świętokrzyski National Park – although not directly in Kielce, this national park is easily accessible and offers many hiking trails and beautiful views.
