In what position do you most often read books? Sitting at the desk? Are you lying on your side? Are you sitting on the couch? What is the best which position is best for the spine? And for the body at all?

When I read a book, I change position. Once I'm sitting on the couch, once on one side lying down, once on the other side. It is not healthy to be in one position all the time. Sitting while you are, it's best to have some solid back support.
It's healthiest to read books sitting down with your feet resting on the floor, your hands resting on the desk or support to relieve your spine. The back must also have solid support, but the head cannot be tilted down very much, just a little.
Preferably sitting down, only with your feet well placed on the floor and the right backrest and adequate lighting. Then it will be healthiest.
Alternatively, you can also take a sunbed or a fold-out chair.
Lying on your side and leaning on your hand is very bad, it puts a great strain on your collarbone and the surrounding area, as well as bad for your spine almost entirely.

They even advertised it recently on television. When I read books, I read 3-4 a year. Now, during the year, I've listened to 35 books. I work at the computer, so I just had too tired eyes to read. I usually listen to it lying down, or walking, or doing something at home.
I also look in all days laptop and just recently started listening to books instead of reading. I did not suspect that listening would be more enjoyable than reading. The teachers are doing a really good job.
