This application does not support the editing of banknote images
I have a problem with editing an image in Adobe Photoshop. The image contains money. To be precise – Polish Zloty. When I try to edit the image, there is a message:
„This application does not support the editing of banknote images”
I have to newest photoshop version. Does any of you know a way around the problem?

I had the same problem. I solved it by making the picture smaller before opening it in Adobe Photoshop. The picture was around 5000px wide, I changed the size to 1600px wide. And it opened without a problem.
Lucky for me I needed it for the web, so it did not have to be a large size image.
If you need money editing in large sizes, you need to use another software, like Gimp. Photoshop doesn’t support editing money. And it is not new information.
I had similar problem. I tried to change its size, like was mentioned above but it didn’t solve my problem. Unfortunately I had to use another photo editor, for example like Gimp- it is ok.
That’s most probably some security system to avoid banknote manipulation. But as you can see it’s possible to avoid it.
Photoshop won’t make it possible because of the possible forgery. I wonder how they detect it. There are so many currencies in the world.
