What can you replace an allen key? An alternative to the ginger
I have something to unscrew, but I don't have an allen. Can the Allen key be replaced? If so, what? Do you know any alternative to the ginger? Nothing is coming to my mind.

Rather, there is no sensible alternative to the Allen. You can possibly take a plate that has an allen-width tip and try. Or, e.g. with a house key, you can also try, or use a knife, but only if the screw is tightened very slightly.
It is better to just buy an Allen key or borrow it.
If you don't have an allen and you are up to it, you will damage the screw and that's it. You better get yourself an allen. And if you need it urgently, you can try to carve a piece of wood in a similar shape.
Rather, you will not find an alternative to allen. You can try to replace the hex key with some ordinary flat screwdriver or other device with a similar tip, but sooner you break the screw. It is better to buy a set of allen keys and have on hand. You do not necessarily have to buy a set of alleners, you can buy a screwdriver with such tips, here is a very nice set:
There is hardly a reasonable alternative for an allen. If it were an alternative to the Allen, the Allen would stop production. You may also have a pocket knife in which one of the keys is an Allen key, if you do not have an Allen key set. This set given by the bmik is pretty cool, very practical.
Probably something broke on your bike and you do not have an allen on hand? I've had something like this many times. You just have to buy and have, nothing sensible you cannot replace the Allen, sooner you break the screw.
It will be hard to find something to replace the allen. If you don't have a place to buy, ask your neighbor, we often forget that sometimes you can ask for help from a regular neighbor.
There is no reasonable substitute for an allen. If you need to unscrew something with an Allen key, you need an Allen key, end of point 🙂
The hexagon key, i.e. the Allen key, is virtually irreplaceable. It's better to buy an allen set and have one.
I ordered myself these hex keys and they are very good, very good quality material. In one of the DIY stores, the same keys were PLN 15 more expensive.
The advantage of this set of hex keys is that they have, on the other hand, such rounded tips, they allow it to turn at an angle. Very useful when cycling.
this set of hex keys is very good, I ordered it a few days ago, I already have it and it is of very good quality.
If you combine and tamper with anything other than an allen screw, you will damage it. You'd better buy or borrow an allen.
I needed to unscrew the screw, I did not have an allen, and I tried a screwdriver and I broke the screw. So it's better to be patient and get yourself an allen. Allen sets are not expensive.
All you can do is buy yourself an Allen key set. There is no good alternative, whatever you try, you risk damaging the screw or object you will try to spin.
We've had the same problem lately, we didn't have an allen. And we learned that there is no sensible alternative to the ginger. You won't use anything sensible instead of an allen, so it's better to go to the store and have it behind you. Or borrow from my mother-in-law 🙂
Unfortunately, I have to disappoint you - the imbus does not have a good replacement. If you need an allen key you have to buy a set. They are very cheap. You can buy it for just PLN 20, and for about PLN 50 it is already very cool hexagon. Buy one that has two tips - one for angling. It will be especially useful with a bicycle.
You could ask a magneto, he can move metal by force of will, he would turn the screw for you. But I do not know what command to call magneto and whether it will come.
Allen wrenches are very cheap and there are also very handy sets. It is better to buy and have it with you if, for example, you like to ride a bicycle. It is often useful to assemble furniture, but then usually a small Allen key is added.
There is no sensible alternative to the Allen, you need to have this key to unscrew the screw for the Allen. There are no miracles, unfortunately.
You'll sooner break the screw than unscrew it with a wrench other than an Allen wrench. Allen screw is the only sensible solution for Allen screws.
Well, I broke the screw with the replacement ones and I don't know what to do now
The Allen can be replaced by a telekinetic force that flows from your brain. Otherwise you will not unscrew such a screw, you need an Allen. There is no alternative to allen.
Haha, you probably play too much and read science fiction.
Only the Allen key. Such a set of different sizes of this tool does not cost a fortune. It is better to buy and always have somewhere on hand.
The Allen key is hard to replace, it's a very specific key. I had such a problem lately and I ended up borrowing my Allen's allen wrenches and then bought my own Allen set. Allen keys should be at home, they will always be useful. And if you ride a bike, the Allen key is a must.
nice set, thanks for the link, I think I'll buy myself. I often have a need for an allen, but I don't have it on hand.
